964 Ben Amos

Biography

Goalkeeper Amos joined City during Julu 2012 on a season long loan.  Thrust straight into the first team, Amos’s form started out average and then deteriorated – clearly a talented player, but not full of confidence.  By Christmas he was out of the team and returned to Manchester early in January 2013.

Amos joined Manchester United during his teenage years and made a number of first team appearances, including one Premier League match in 2012, in between a number of loan moves.  He left Old Trafford in 2015 and signed a lengthy deal for Bolton Wanderers.  He was a first team fixture during his first season with the Trotters, in his second season he spent time on loan at Cardiff City before being loaned to Charlton Athletic for the 2017/18 season.

Whilst at Manchester United Amos played for all England youth levels from under-16 to under-21.
