962 Josh King

Biography

Lightning quick Manchester United forward King spent the last five months of 2011-12 on loan at Hull City, playing an important supporting role for Nick Barmby’s side as he started out on his professional career.

Norwegian born King joined Manchester United at the age of 16, enjoyed several loan spells and played for the Red Devils first team in a League Cup tie.  He switched to Blackburn Rovers for 2012-13 season, initially on loan and then permanently from January 2013, and developed into a dangerous goalscoring forward.  In May 2015 King switched to Premier League side Bournemouth, where he played and scored regularly for the Cherries and made a reputation as one of the leagues most dangerous forwards.

Born in Norway to a Gambian father and Norwegian mother, King played for Norway at all youth levels from under-15 to under-21, and made his senior debut against Iceland in September 2012.  He is now a regular scorer for the Norway team.
