1006 Greg Luer

Biography

Striker Luer was lured from the non-leagues in 2015 to bolster City’s emerging development squad and challenge for first team places.  He made an impact in the club’s 2015 League Cup run, scoring goals against Accrington and Rochdale before spending time on loan at three lower league clubs.  In his second season he suffered long term injury during another League Cup tie at Exeter and spent the rest of the Premier League season outside the first team scene.

Prior to signing for City Luer was a junior at Brighton & Hove Albion and had several seasons at south coast non-league sides Hove Rivervale, Whitehawk and Eastbourne Borough.  He came to the notice of Hull City after a productive 12 goal spell at Burgess Hill Town.
