1029 Alfred N’Diaye

Biography

Imposing midfielder N’Diaye was acquired by Marco Silva on the final day of the January 2017 transfer window, and made an immediate impact with a debut goal against Liverpool.  Alfred went on to play an important role in the Tigers revival under Silva, combining neat link-up play with tough tackling.

Born in Paris, N’Diaye’s career took him to Turkey and Spain following early years at AS Nancy.  A brief spell at Sunderland soon petered out into loan spells.

N’Diaye returned to Villareal on expiry of his loan to Hull City.  In August 2017 he returned to England and signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan.

After playing at all youth levels for France up to under-21s, Alfred made his full international debut for Senegal in 2013.
