1045 Stephen Kingsley

Biography

A Scottish left sided defender and midfielder, Kingsley joined the Tigers from Swansea City at the same time as Sam Clucas made a big money switch to South Wales outfit.  The fee was £3m, a decent value buy in a like-for-like replacement for Andy Robertson.

Born in Stirling, Kingsley joined Falkirk at a young age and debuted for the Bairns’ first team at the age of 16.  In June 2014 he signed for Swansea City where he played occasional first team games and had a couple of loans to build resilience.

Kingsley was capped at under-18 level by Scotland, then subsequently at under-19 and under-21 levels.  He made his senior international debut for Scotland in June 2016 against France.
