Mick Thorpe, a HCSS member for many years and a Director of Hull City under Don Robinson’s chairmanship, passed away on 5th May.
He was 93 but had suffered from dementia for a number of years.
He was very proud of the fact that he witnessed England winning the World Cup in 1966 but also that he was at Wembley to see Hull City on a few occasions later in his life: 2008, and 2014 — twice!
